Föli

To get from a to b during my stay in Finland, we went by bus. The transport company which is stable here in Turku is Föli. The buses drive according to the order of Föli.

Carefree you can get from any part of the city to the other in Turku.

The bus connection is quite good and one gets along well with the bus stops, as there is a bus stop every 10m and therefore there can be none.

It is oftenly quite annoying when one is sitting in the bus that the bus stops every 3 minutes at another bus stop. With the help of a bus ticket, which we bought in the first days after our arrival from the Föli central office in the city, we could use the bus. With a monthly charge of the card we were able to enter the bus without any problems by scanning the card.

After a long time, during which I did not drive the bus and was used to drive by car, it was an unusual feeling to sit next to strangers and to have a long journey compared to the car.

Furthermore, with the help of the map and the Föli app, you can use the many bicycles in the town and the surrounding area. You can also use the app to see which bus leaves from where and when.
