Pretty much at the beginning of my year abroad, our tutors thought about where they would like to take us first, and we were also embarrassed by the good weather. So they decided to go to the small lake which is located in Taivassalo, Hilloinen. It is not a natural lake, but a lake formed between the quarry and filled with fresh and clean water.
It is located in the west of Finland, after Naantali about 60km from Turku. However, the distance is a bit longer, so if you are an exchange student in Turku, I would recommend you to visit it when the weather is good because it is beautiful and clean.
