To be allowed to make this experience and to live in finland for 9 months was a very nice journey. I would do exactly the same thing again, if someone would ask me the same question. I made a lot of new friends, a lot of new experiences and my knowledge has increased accordingly.
The great variation of courses and homework has broadened my horizon and prepared me for the double degree. I got an insight into the finnish education system and was able to compare a lot of differences to the german learning methods and approaches.
As well as got to see another culture and live for 9 months in a country I’ve never been before.
It was a pleasure and an honour to be part of this program and to represent my university in Aschaffenburg as the patner university of Turku Amk.
In case you are sceptical whether you want to do a double degree or a semester abroad. My tip would be: do it!! I was also a bit sceptical, as 9 months is not exactly a short time, but I don't regret any of my decisions and I am happy to have chosen Turku.
Thanks for everything, I hope to see you again Turku. It was a pleasure to meet you.
Everything good has an end.
