After we bought our tickets to Reykjavik and rented a little car perfect for two people we looked up all the places we needed to visit during our stay. Because we only had 4 days, we decided to do the south coast road trip instead of the golden circle, where you drive through whole Iceland and have thus the opportunity to see everything.
Due to the weather conditions and our short time spending in Iceland we set our last destination to the diamond beach, which is south-east of Iceland.
We looked up all the sightseeings and important destinations from Pinterest and other travel blogs. We read many blogs, which shared their experience doing a road trip in Iceland.
While doing that we had so much fun and were so excited to go on that road trip, thus it was our first road trip and first time being in Iceland.
It was such a nice feeling to plan these things and being able to travel around and see the world.

The green spots were places we surely visited and the yellow spots were beautiful places as well we wanted to visit but because of our short time we had, it wasn’t possible to do so.
