Polar lights

My first experience of seeing polar lights was in Lappland as well. We were really lucky to see the polar lights right the night we arrived at our cottages. The lights stretched across the sky in different shades of green and looked breathtakingly beautiful. After a few minutes the lights started to flicker and the colours changed to different shades of purple. It was one of the highlights of our trip. This was also the only day we got to see the lights.
